Kind words
This page holds every review our Etsy shop has ever received — unedited, in the customers’ own words. We’d rather show you their sentences than write our own.
This item arrived on time and without any issues. I was really happy with the item as well. The photos didn’t capture just how rich and vivid the coloured leather is, or the textural qualities of the material. Zafer messaged throughout, to thank us for purchasing from him. His messages were always warm, genuinely thoughtful, and you get the impression he takes a lot of pride in his work.
These are really nice leather placemats. Look great on our rustic table. Still need to work on the folds, but they are so cool.
These were so cool. So glad I purchased them. Look great on our nook table.
The customer service was outstanding, the item was beautiful quality and a wonderful gift. I will definitely order from them again. Highly recommend.
This is so beautiful! My purse that I love has an ugly buckle — I fashioned this gorgeous leather flower to hide it. They also included a couple of other small gifts, which was a great surprise. Would definitely recommend!
Everything was perfect. The product and quality were flawless.
The craftsmanship is outstanding; the leather feels premium and has a real soul to it. But what truly sets this shop apart is the attention to detail. The packaging was exquisite, and the thoughtful surprise gifts included were the cherry on top! It felt like receiving a special present from a friend. Thank you for going above and beyond.
Heard at the bench
Some of the kindest words never reach a review form — they’re said across the bench, in the atelier in Istanbul. We’ve written them down here as we remember them. They carry a shop verified mark because we can vouch for them ourselves; only the reviews above are verified by Etsy.
I had the chance to stop by the atelier during my trip to Istanbul. This Crazy Horse leather tote is simply magnificent. Watching the saddle stitching up close — every stitch laid by hand, no machine anywhere — was mesmerising. This is a piece I’ll carry for years.
I fell for this wireless-charging sofa organizer the moment I saw it at the atelier. Zafer noticed a gap in the market and created something entirely his own design. No straps, no buckles — just smooth, functional, incredibly elegant leatherwork.
I never imagined leather and Turkish needle lace could come together this beautifully. The atmosphere in the atelier was so warm — knowing every detail was shaped by hand makes this runner the most treasured thing in my home.
I bought the Lotus basket for my entry console. It’s less a basket than a small leather sculpture. The scent of leather in the atelier and the warm welcome made me admire it even more.
Touching that Italian Pueblo leather in person was something else entirely. The edges are burnished flawlessly, and you can already tell it will age into a wonderful character.
I’d been looking for a proper roll for my brushes for a long time. When I examined this one at the atelier, I couldn’t believe the thickness of the leather and the strength of the stitching. Being hand-sewn the traditional way gives it a wonderful soul.
I wanted something rustic yet luxurious for my dinner table, and these maple-leaf napkin cuffs were exactly it. The hospitality at the atelier was every bit as lovely as the work.
This flower-shaped leather bowl I bought for the centre of my table isn’t just an object — it’s a piece of art. Knowing every curve was shaped by hand, without a single mould, makes it very special.
The delicate embroidery and the saddle stitching make this glasses case truly one of a kind. The moment I stepped into the atelier, I could feel the passion for the craft. I’ll definitely be back.
I’d been searching for a travel jewellery organizer with a mirror and hooks. I fell in love with the matte, understated texture of the Pueblo leather. Every detail is carefully thought through and stitched with real mastery.
The leather cover we bought to protect our sofa arm completely changed the feel of our living room. The firm body of the leather and that unmistakable scent remind you of the quality every single second.
I bought the Ocean Blue leather flower charm as a gift for my wife. The vividness of the colours and the waxed-thread details are superb. It gave her bag a genuinely noble air.
This is exactly what people mean by quiet luxury. The tobacco-brown placemats gave our dining table real character. Producing stitching this flawless without a machine takes serious talent.
That wonderful contrast of navy and beige… When I tie back the curtains, the room feels modern and traditional at the same time. I decided I had to have them the moment I saw them at the atelier.
The lived-in feel of the distressed leather is wonderful. The whole room changed character the moment I laid it across the table. Hearing the story behind the pieces at the shop made the whole experience unforgettable.
This red leather flower charm I bought as a Mother’s Day gift is gorgeous. Pınar and Zafer’s energy at the atelier was lovely — and you can feel it in the pieces themselves.
Pueblo leather and hand-crocheted lace… I’ve never seen old and new brought together this poetically in a single piece. The moment I touched this runner at the atelier, I was sold on the quality.
This orange daisy charm has become my wife’s favourite accessory. The warm, artistic atmosphere of the atelier explains exactly where pieces this creative come from.
This wireless-charging sofa caddy is a perfect meeting of modern technology and traditional handwork. No pointless buckles or straps — just smooth leather and clever design. A truly original idea, born from a real need.
The antique rivet gives this wallet such a beautiful character. After watching the leather being worked at the atelier, carrying it makes me quietly proud.
The first time I picked up this calf-leather tool roll, I knew it would stay with me for life. Building something this solid entirely with hand stitching takes real craftsmanship.
Simple, functional and incredibly well made. Four card slots and a cash pocket — exactly the minimal design I needed. Visiting the atelier in person and breathing in that leather smell was a joy in itself.
Learning that every single petal is shaped by hand, without any mould, really moved me. A genuinely one-of-a-kind accessory.
I was so tired of soulless, mass-produced homeware. This leather runner with its lace detail let my home breathe again. I can’t wait to get back to that sweet atelier in Istanbul.
A firm, durable leather that defies time. I love the sophistication it brings to my dining table. Pieces untouched by machines, made entirely by hand, are worth every penny.
Etsy Star Seller
Paz Leather Art carries Etsy’s Star Seller badge. It isn’t a subscription or a paid tier: Etsy measures four numbers across a rolling three-month window and re-checks them on the first of every month. Miss one, and the badge is gone.
First messages from buyers get a reply inside a day — measured on every conversation, not a sample.
Orders ship within the stated processing time, with a tracking number on the parcel.
Across the whole review period. Ours is 5.0 — every review, full stars.
At least five completed orders and $300 in sales over the three months — the badge requires a working shop, not a lucky week.
Criteria as defined by Etsy’s Star Seller programme, evaluated over rolling three-month windows and refreshed on the 1st of each month.
